ICTERI 2027 will be held at Ternopil National Pedagogical University, – KSU rector
The International Scientific Conference ICTERI 2027, one of the co-founders of which is Kherson State University, will be held at the Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatyuk National Pedagogical University.
KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi announced the relevant agreement with TNPU Rector Bohdan Buyak during a visit to the university, emphasizing the continuation of cooperation and the development of an international scientific platform, one of whose co-founders is KSU.
"For me, this agreement has a special meaning. After all, we are connected not only by a shared vision for the development of education, but also by the history of the conference itself.
In 2019, Bohdan Buyak was our guest in Kherson, when ICTERI hosted Kherson State University - one of the co-founders of this international scientific platform.
At that time, we welcomed scientists from various countries to our home city, spoke about information technologies, innovations in education, new approaches to learning and knowledge management. We built partnerships, many of which continue to develop even today.
KSU was the home of ICTERI for many years. Later, its geography expanded: Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, French Nice (Université Côte d’Azur)...
This September, the XXI ICTERI 2026 conference took place in Chernivtsi at the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. And next year, Ternopil will take up the baton.
And in this, I see a very important pattern. A university may change its location, but the ideas it initiated continue to live, unite people, and create new opportunities.
ICTERI has long gone beyond the boundaries of a single institution or city. It is an international community of researchers, educators, and digital technology specialists united by the desire to develop education and science. Today, as artificial intelligence changes approaches to learning, research, and working with information, the significance of such scientific dialogue only grows.
I am glad that Ternopil National Pedagogical University is becoming our new strategic partner in the development of ICTERI.
I sincerely thank Bohdan Buyak and his team for their readiness to host the conference, for their openness to cooperation and the shared desire to move Ukrainian education forward. It is especially valuable that our cooperation has a continuation: from the meeting in Kherson in 2019 to joint plans in Ternopil for 2027. We believe that very soon we will be able to hold the conference in Kherson.
We preserve traditions, expand partnerships, and create space for innovation. And it is in this that the strength of the Ukrainian university community lies," – noted Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
