Oleksandr Korinchuk, a staff member of the Kherson Regional Museum of Local Lore, presented the exhibition "Along the Paths of the Free Steppe" as part of the project "Kherson Region: Life Under the Crosshairs"—organized by the Kherson Regional State Administration—at the Lviv Palace of Arts.

Oleksandr Korinchuk, a graduate of the Bachelor’s programme “History and Archaeology” at Kherson State University, continues to work at the Kherson Regional Museum of Local Lore after completing his studies during the war, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the Kherson region.

As part of the large cultural and artistic project “Kherson Region — Life Under Target,” organized by the Department for the Implementation of Humanitarian Policy of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr presented the museum exhibition “Along the Paths of the Free Steppe” at the Lviv Art Palace.

The exhibition, prepared by the Kherson Regional Museum of Local Lore, includes information about artefacts stolen during the occupation of Kherson by Russian forces. Its mission is of great importance — to inform the Ukrainian public about the cultural losses suffered by Kherson and the wider region during the war.

The presentation in Lviv was attended by representatives of Kherson State University: Yuliia Yurina, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Arts, along with faculty staff who supported the cultural initiative and the work of the museum team. Among the guests were also creative and civic leaders from Kherson who traditionally support projects aimed at preserving and promoting the region’s cultural memory.
