Practical training for Law students continues! As part of the in-person week hosted by the Faculty of Business and Law, a lecture-presentation was held on the topic: "Activity of the Human Rights Commissioner under Martial Law."

A highlighted and highly relevant event of the in-person week of the Faculty of Business and Law at Kherson State University was a lecture-presentation on the topic "Activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights under Martial Law," which took place directly in the office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Higher education students from KSU joined the event alongside colleagues and future legal professionals from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

During the lecture-presentation, participants gained detailed insight into the specifics of the regional Ombudsman office's work under the legal regime of martial law, mechanisms for documenting and responding to violations of citizens' rights and freedoms, the organization of assistance to internally displaced persons and other vulnerable population groups, as well as the peculiarities of international cooperation in human rights protection during armed conflict.

The joint participation of KSU and PNU students contributed not only to deepening legal knowledge, but also to strengthening student friendship and inter-university cooperation.

We express our sincere gratitude to the staff of the regional office of the Human Rights Commissioner for the high level of organization, openness to dialogue, and important practical guidance for future legal specialists!
