Academic Integrity Decade Begins at KSU
On October 14, the first event within the framework of the Academic Integrity Decade took place at Kherson State University: a seminar for master’s students titled "Signing Work with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES), Publication, and Defense."
During the meeting, participants reviewed practical issues regarding the preparation of qualification works for publication, specifically the features of signing documents with a qualified electronic signature (QES) and compliance with the established procedure for submitting works.
Alla Koval, Director of the KSU Scientific Library, and Tetiana Cherkashyna, Head of the Education Quality Assurance Department, participated in the event. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of formatting and submitting qualification works in electronic format.
To facilitate the preparation of a qualification work for submission, the KSU Scientific Library has prepared an instruction for signing documents with a QES. You can view it via this link.
The Decade of Academic Integrity will take place throughout October. The program includes events dedicated to choosing reliable scientific conferences, working with the StrikePlagiarism system, academic authorship, and the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence.
We invite teaching staff and higher education students to participate in the upcoming Decade events and to deepen the knowledge and practical skills necessary for adhering to the principles of academic integrity.
