KSU Freshmen Joined an Introductory Meeting with the University Student Community
During the meeting, freshmen were introduced to the main digital platforms and electronic services used in the educational process at KSU. Students also received useful recommendations on organizing their studies and maintaining effective communication with lecturers.
Representatives of the Humanitarian Department informed participants about the opportunities for receiving academic and social scholarships, explained the eligibility criteria, and answered students’ questions.
An important part of the event was the presentation by representatives of the KSU Student Parliament. Freshmen learned more about the university’s vibrant student life and the opportunities available through cultural, scientific, civic, and volunteer initiatives. The meeting also included an introduction to the heads of the faculty student councils. Active first-year students were encouraged to join student self-government and contribute to the university community.
Special attention was given to the activities of the Student Trade Union Organization and the Student Ombudsman. Participants were informed about the protection of students’ rights and the mechanisms for receiving support and консультації regarding academic and social issues.
To conclude the event, an interactive Kahoot! quiz was organized for the freshmen, allowing them to test their knowledge about the university in an engaging and enjoyable way. We are pleased to highlight the achievement of Daryna Yevtushok, a student of the Social Work and Counseling program (Group 053-111), who demonstrated an excellent level of knowledge and earned an honorable second place in the competition.
We sincerely congratulate Daryna Yevtushok on her outstanding result and wish all first-year students successful studies, memorable student years, and active participation in the life of the university community!
