Lecturer of the FCTPNM at KSU Mykola Homaniuk presented the research results at the ASN international conference in Belgrade
Associate Professor of the Department of Geography and Ecology of Kherson State University Mykola Homaniuk participated in the international conference of the Association for the Study of Nationalities (ASN) «Rethinking National Identities Amidst Numerous Crises», which took place on September 18–20 in Belgrade. In collaboration with Roman Rudenko (Vienna University of Economics and Business), the scientist presented a report dedicated to the transformation of the identities of Transcarpathian Hungarians during the war.
The international forum was held at the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade. The event program covered over 40 thematic sections and brought together leading experts from around the world to deepen the scientific understanding of national identities in Europe and Eurasia.
The report «Transformation of territorial and ethnocultural identities of Transcarpathian Hungarians in the context of war», prepared by Mykola Homaniuk and Roman Rudenko, highlighted relevant socio-geographic and ethnocultural processes in Ukraine amidst modern challenges.
The participation of a representative of the Faculty of Digital Technologies, Natural Sciences and Mathematics of KSU in the prestigious event of the Association for the Study of Nationalities confirms the high level of the university's research and contributes to the strengthening of international scientific ties.
