KSU and IFNTUNG are developing a roadmap for joint projects
KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi congratulated Ihor Chudyk and the entire university community of IFNTUNG on the start of the new academic year.
"The start of the academic year is always a time for new plans and an opportunity to update previous agreements. During the years of relocation, the university community of Ivano-Frankivsk has created such an atmosphere of support and partnership that KSU today feels like a full-fledged part of the city's educational ecosystem. And this is extremely valuable to us," – noted Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the next step of the partnership – the preparation of a memorandum of cooperation between KSU and IFNTUNG.
"But we immediately agreed: this should not be a declaratory document, but a roadmap of specific points of contact where our universities can strengthen each other. Our teams will work on the draft memorandum, and we plan to sign it in the near future.
Ihor Ivanovych's words resonated deeply with me regarding how, together, we can show an example of atypical cooperation with a relocated university – a university that does not just continue to live, but develops under the conditions of war, preserving its values and passing them on to teachers, students, and its community," – emphasized Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
It is worth noting that Ihor Chudyk truly immersed himself in the life of KSU – becoming a participant in two events important to the university at once.
In particular, the Rector of IFNTUNG joined the defense of Oleg Zhvyvych's dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and the meeting of the labor collective of the Faculty of Philology, Journalism, and Arts, where the collective determined its future leader.
"Ihor Ivanovych said very correct words: «We can stand firm through proper and strong leadership. A strong leader - strong troops.».
This is close to my understanding of a university as well. Especially now, when the resilience of an entire institution depends on the ability to take responsibility, to unite people around values, and to lead a team forward.
Thank you, Ihor Ivanovych Chudyk, for the visit, the warm communication, the support for KSU, and the readiness to move from good partnership relations to concrete joint endeavors," – summarized Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
