KSU honored the leaders of the 2026 admission campaign
During the ceremonies marking Knowledge Day for first-year students of Kherson State University «KSU: the power of knowledge – the power of the future!», applicants who demonstrated the highest results during the 2026 admission campaign were honored.
By KSU tradition, talented youth receive certificates from the rector as recognition of their achievements and an incentive for new accomplishments.
As Veronika Denysenko, Vice-Rector for Social-Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work, noted, it is these young people who have already demonstrated perseverance, purposefulness, and a thirst for knowledge at the very beginning of their student journey.
«Today we congratulate the applicants who demonstrated the highest entrance ratings at their faculties. These are young people who, at the start of their student journey, have shown perseverance, purposefulness, and a thirst for knowledge», – emphasized Veronika Denysenko.
Certificates in the amount of 5 thousand hryvnias from the Rector of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Spivakovsky, were received by:
- Faculty of Business and Law – Anna Melnyk;
- Faculty of Medicine, Health and Sport – Oleksandra Kondratieva;
- Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work – Mariia Domanchuk;
- Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Arts – Sofiia Tarasenko;
- Faculty of Digital Technologies, Natural Sciences and Mathematics – Oleh Kurnytskyi.
It is worth noting that Oleh Kurnytskyi not only became the leader of the admission campaign at his faculty but also scored the maximum 200 points on the National Multi-Subject Test in mathematics and is a prize winner of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Physics. During the ceremony, he was present in the hall and personally received the certificate from the hands of Rector Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
Concluding the award ceremony, Veronika Denysenko wished the freshmen to step confidently toward their professional peaks, to multiply the traditions of Kherson State University in education, science, sports, and community life, and to contribute to the development and prosperity of Ukraine through their work.
