A KSU student participated in an international conference on rehabilitation and prosthetics
The event brought together leading specialists in the fields of orthopedics, traumatology, prosthetics, and surgery (including Protez Hub and BRASS). During the conference, participants discussed important aspects of a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation:
- The role of the prosthetist, orthopedist, and physical therapist at each stage of recovery;
- Features of walking biomechanics and the phases of the gait cycle in lower limb prosthetics;
- Processes of psychological and social adaptation of patients after amputations.
Participation in such large-scale international events allows future specialists to integrate the most modern global practices and evidence-based rehabilitation methods into their future professional activities
