Specialized Web of Science databases: opportunities for scientific research
On August 27, 2026, employees of the Scientific Library of Kherson State University participated in the webinar "Complex Search in the Web of Science: Possibilities of Specialized Databases", dedicated to specialized databases of the Web of Science platform, which complement the resources of the Web of Science Core Collection.
Participants learned what types of scientific content are represented in these databases, such as dissertations, patents, preprints, datasets, information about grants, regulatory documents, and other resources, and how they differ from Core Collection.
During the practical part, the possibilities for searching and analyzing information were explored, as well as the use of specialized resources for scientific research, finding partners, and preparing publications.
Participants also received answers to the questions submitted during registration for the webinar.
