The 40-hour training "Principles of a trauma-oriented approach for the mental well-being of the community" was completed
From June 15 to 26, the 40-hour training "Principles of a trauma-oriented approach for the mental well-being of the community", organized as part of the Summer School of the international Erasmus+ BURN project, was successfully held at the Center for Psychological Stability and Well-Being of Kherson State University.
During two weeks, 69 participants received training, deepened their knowledge of the principles of a trauma-oriented approach, mastered modern practical tools for supporting psychological well-being and developing resilience, exchanged professional experience and received new ideas for implementation in their daily professional activities.
The training program consisted of four substantive modules:
"Understanding Trauma"
"Principles of a trauma-oriented approach"
"Trauma-oriented practice in action"
"Vicarious injury and staff well-being"
The participants reviewed modern approaches to understanding individual and collective trauma, principles of creating a safe environment, features of trauma-sensitive interaction, psychological support for children, adolescents and adults, and also learned practical tools for self-regulation, stabilization, prevention of retraumatization and professional burnout.

It was your involvement that created an atmosphere of trust, mutual support and professional development, which became the key to the successful implementation of the Summer School.
