KSU Professor visited Saarland University in Germany
On June 29, Professor of the Department of Medicine Olena Dolzhykova visited Saarland University (Universität des Saarlandes, Saarbrücken, Germany). The visit took place as part of the active development of our international cooperation.
The main goal of the visit is to exchange advanced experience in the field of higher education and discuss the prospects for implementing joint international projects.
During the trip, a meeting took place with representatives and students of the international group of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Colleagues discussed modern approaches to organizing the educational process, as well as tools for academic mobility for students and teachers.
As a result of the meeting, key areas of future cooperation were identified:
- academic mobility of students and scientific-pedagogical staff;
- organization and conducting of guest lectures, webinars, and scientific seminars;
- joint participation in international grant projects.
A separate stage of the visit was the defense of a master's thesis by a student of a German university on an extremely relevant topic: «Ashurine: Sustainable Recovery of Amonia and Calcium Phosphate from Urine and Ash», at which Professor Dolzhykova O.V. was present as an honorary guest.
