Representatives of KSU joined a sports run as part of the "Active Parks" program
On June 15, representatives of Kherson State University took part in a sports race that took place in Ivano-Frankivsk as part of the President of Ukraine's social project «Active Parks».
The university was represented at the event by Vice-Rector for Social-Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Veronika Denysenko, Head of the Humanities Department Anna Suprun, and specialists of the humanities department.
About a thousand participants of various ages joined the sporting event – from the youngest sports enthusiasts to seniors. The event united community members around the idea of an active lifestyle, health, and physical activity.
Before the start, participants were greeted by the Deputy Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Vitaliy Fedoriv and the Head of the State Agency for Mass Sports in the Ivano-Frankivsk region Mykhailo Stefankiv.
Participants of the event had the opportunity not only to test their own strength on the distance but also to join a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting physical culture and sports among the population.
Kherson State University is convinced that sport is an important component of harmonious personal development, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, and the strengthening of physical and psychological health. This takes on particular significance in wartime, when physical activity helps maintain emotional resilience, cohesion, and faith in one's own strength.
The participation of university representatives in such events is another confirmation that KSU supports initiatives aimed at developing a healthy, active, and responsible community.
