At a time when mental health support and community cohesion are of particular importance, the KSU Center for Psychological Resilience and Well-being invites you to participate in the Summer Training School.
The event is held within the framework of the international Erasmus+ BURN project «Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Well-being in (Post-) War Ukraine».

Activists, volunteers, professionals working with internally displaced persons, internal refugees, as well as mental health specialists and everyone seeking to enhance their competencies in the field of psychological support are invited to participate.
Dates: June 15-26, 2026.
Class times: Monday - Friday, from 15:00 to 20:00.
Program volume: 40 hours.
The Summer School program covers the following modules:
- Understanding trauma;
- Principles of trauma-informed practice;
- Trauma-informed practice in action;
- Vicarious trauma and staff well-being.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- develop algorithms for providing primary psychosocial support;
- deepen knowledge regarding emotional well-being and resilience development;
- participate in distress tolerance development groups;
- master mindfulness practices and art therapy approaches;
- familiarize themselves with interventions to support people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war;
- develop strategies for ensuring safety, supporting psychological resilience, and working with multiple losses after traumatic experiences.
The training is conducted by BURN project psychologists, who combine scientific approaches, practical experience, and a sincere desire to support those who help others. This is not only an opportunity to gain new knowledge and practical tools but also a space for professional communication, exchange of experience, mutual support, and finding new solutions to today's challenges.
The Center for Psychological Resilience and Well-being operates within the framework of the international Erasmus+ BURN project (Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Well-being in Post-War Ukrainian Nation).
We invite you to join professional training, exchanging experience and practical skills in the field of mental health support amidst modern challenges.
