A KSU student became a scholarship recipient of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
Second-year student of the Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology of Kherson State University Olesya Kornienko has been awarded a scholarship from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"This recognition does not come by chance. Behind it lie daily work, perseverance, responsibility, and the ability not to stop at what has been achieved," – noted KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
Olesya studies in the specialty "Secondary Education (Biology and Human Health)" and demonstrates not only high academic results. Over the last two semesters, her rating score is 97.15.
Since her first year, she has been the class leader of her academic group. This means being able to take responsibility, being a pillar for classmates, finding solutions where difficulties arise, and always remaining a person who is trusted.
Olesya is actively involved in the life of the faculty and university, participates in public initiatives, and volunteers with the Sant’Egidio.ua community, helping to organize events and involve others in good causes. She also plays volleyball—an Olympic sport that teaches teamwork, endurance, and character.
"This is exactly how I see the modern students of Kherson State University—intelligent, caring, active, and ready to work on themselves and change the world around them.
We are proud of our student and wish Olesya new achievements, scientific accomplishments, personal victories, and confidence in her own strength.
Keep it up!" – congratulated the student Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
