– What mistakes do applicants most often make during preparation for the admission campaign?
Probably, if we are talking specifically about the preparation stage, it is leaving everything until the last moment. Because in the final days, it is very difficult to do everything qualitatively and quickly, especially if some problem arises with documents. Therefore, perhaps this is the most accurate advice – please do not leave everything until the last moment.
– What do you need to know regarding the creation of an applicant's electronic cabinet?
The applicant's electronic cabinet begins to work—more precisely, the service where this cabinet can be created—from July 1st. Do not confuse it with the cabinet for participants in entrance examinations, which you already have now. The applicant's cabinet is created in accordance with the specified rules of admission procedure on the website https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua/. The applicant creates it independently. And to create it, the details of educational and personal documents are required.
– How to correctly determine the priority of applications during admission? This is probably the most difficult part.
Perhaps, you just need to answer and arrange the applications in the order of where you want to study and for which specialties. That is how priority works. But actually, you need to pay attention to the fact that since last year, priority applies not only to budget-funded applications but also to contract-based applications. Therefore, before choosing where you want to apply, with which priority, which institution, and for which specialty to submit an application, read very carefully how the general competition algorithm works. Because, as I have already said, both budget and contract applications will be taken into account.
