A student of the medical faculty of KSU is among the participants of an international expedition in North Macedonia
The Head of the student council of the medical faculty of Kherson State University Polina Yashna took part in an international expedition through the territory of North Macedonia.
The program combined scientific activity, cultural excursions, and recreational activities, which allowed participants to gain a deeper understanding of the history and modernity of the Balkan region.
On Science Day – May 16 – teams of students presented group projects dedicated to the comprehensive study of Via Egnatia and its historical significance. Polina Yashna, together with her team, presented the research “Balkan History and Post-Conflict Recovery”, dedicated to the historical heritage of the Balkans, the consequences of the Yugoslav wars, post-conflict recovery, ethnic and cultural diversity, international cooperation, peacekeeping processes, and the reconstruction of the region.
After completing the Macedonian part of the route, participants visited Serbia, specifically Belgrade, where they explored the historical and cultural landmarks of the capital, after which they returned to Poznań.
The conclusion of the expedition was accompanied by the presentation of diplomas and a collective reflection.
