A week of in-person learning has started at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports
At the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Kherson State University, a week of in-person learning has begun at the Ivano-Frankivsk office of KSU.
For 2nd and 3rd-year students of the educational programs «Physical Culture and Sport» and «Secondary Education. Physical Culture», practical training is simultaneously taking place in an in-person format.
The Rector of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, spoke with the faculty staff and Dean Ivan Glukhov, thanking the teachers for their work and dedication to the cause.
«I personally saw how students practice practical skills, specifically learning to pitch tents, work in a team, and act in conditions as close to real-life as possible. I also had the pleasant opportunity to present a Letter of Gratitude from the Department of Education, Science and Youth of the Kherson Regional State Administration to a Master of Sports of Ukraine in boxing, a 3rd-year student of the faculty, Oleh Vituk — for high achievements in studies, active participation in student life, and worthy representation of Kherson State University», - noted the Rector of KSU.
According to Ivan Glukhov, in-person weeks and practical classes are particularly important today, as they provide the opportunity not only to qualitatively master professional competencies but also to feel the student community, a vibrant university environment, and the support of teachers and one another.
