Director of the Kherson State University Scientific Library Alla Koval was awarded the Diploma of the Kherson City Military Administration
On May 18, 2026, a solemn extended meeting of the rectorate dedicated to the Days of Science in Ukraine was held in the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University.
The event brought together representatives of the university administration, scientists, teaching staff, deans, heads of departments, young scientists, heads of structural units and employees of KhSU.
During the celebrations, the director of the KhSU Scientific Library, Alla Koval, was awarded the Diploma of the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration.
The award was presented for high professionalism under martial law, a significant contribution to the development of the university, outstanding achievements in professional activity, many years of conscientious and impeccable work, as well as the development of the intellectual potential of talented youth on the occasion of Science Day.
During the event, special attention was paid to the role of the KSU Scientific Library as an important center of the university's scientific activity. Participants were presented with a video about the library's activities and its digital resources. Currently, over 21,500 documents are freely available, and the KSU repository has almost 310 thousand visits.
The staff of the Scientific Library sincerely congratulates Alla Koval on the well-deserved recognition of her professional activity and wishes her new achievements, inspiration, strength, and further success in the development of science, the library, and the university.
