KSU Professor completed the Genesis program and is integrating the "Career Skills" course for students
In April, Vitalii Kobets, professor of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, successfully completed an intensive professional development program from the leading Ukrainian ecosystem of product IT companies, Genesis.
This intensive allowed not only to obtain a certificate of 2 ECTS credits, but also – the official right to integrate the all-Ukrainian course «Career Skills» into the educational process of Kherson State University.
"I express my sincere gratitude to the Genesis Academy team for creating an extremely high-quality, applied, and modern educational constructor. This course – is exactly what today's youth need: a bridge between academic knowledge and real work in technology companies", –noted the professor.
According to him, KSU students now have a unique opportunity to study the discipline «Career Skills» as an elective component and to better understand from the inside how the process of recruitment, interviews, continuous learning, and goal-setting works.
Learning on the interactive LMS platform Strum includes the experience of the best industry experts and will help to create an individual development plan and be ready for professional growth not only through hard skills, but also through the improvement of soft skills. It will also help to better understand one's own needs in terms of professional development and the application of acquired skills, which will shorten the time between job searching and employment.
