KSU — in the TOP-50 universities by Scopus scientometric database indicators
Kherson State University has entered the TOP 50 higher education institutions of Ukraine based on the indicators of the Scopus scientometric database! KSU occupies the 48th position.
The corresponding results of the annual rating have been published on the portal Osvita.ua.
The rating was formed based on the results of scientometric monitoring of scientific and publishing entities in Ukraine as of April 2026. The Scopus database indexes over 30 thousand scientific publications in technical, medical, and humanitarian fields, covering articles, conference proceedings, book series, and other types of scientific publications. It is these indicators that reflect the real presence of the university in the global academic environment.
"For us, this is the result of the systematic work of our scientists, their perseverance, professionalism, and faith in science even in the most difficult times. Martial law, relocation, and limited resources did not stop scientific research at KSU. On the contrary, we were able to preserve scientific schools, expand international cooperation, and ensure the presence of our research results in the global scientific space.
I sincerely thank every scientist, teacher, postgraduate student, and everyone who works daily for the result and forms the scientific authority of the university. This is a common achievement of the entire university community.
We are moving forward with the ambition to strengthen our positions, develop science, support young researchers, and confidently integrate into the global scientific space," – commented KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
