At Kherson State University, the accreditation process for the "Medicine" educational program is ongoing in a blended format under the full procedure.

«The Medical faculty is a strategic asset not only for Kherson State University, but also for the entire Kherson region. Therefore, it is fundamental for us to undergo a full rather than a simplified accreditation procedure, as permitted by the status of a relocated university, to prove the quality of educational services and gain the motivation to become better», – emphasizes KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

On April 23, the Kherson State University team participated in a meeting of the Sectoral Expert Council of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance regarding the accreditation of the "Medicine" educational program in a hybrid format under the full procedure.

«We have received and already partially addressed some remarks that came after the work of the expert group led by Andrii Loboda. At the meeting, we had the opportunity to explain to the esteemed representatives of the agency our motivation and the contexts in which the educational program, its teachers, and students operate. Our students are not just classrooms and exams. Some of them are already working in Kherson hospitals under shelling, facing risks that are difficult to compare with any academic environment. And this is not theoretical training. This is real medicine. A few weeks ago, two of our students were injured during emergency calls for ambulance crews due to a drone attack and mortar shelling. And this is not an exception—this is the context in which they gain professionalism», – commented Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

And at the same time, KROK-2 results are consistently high: a 100% pass rate in 2024; nearly a full result in 2025. This is the best indicator of the quality of the educational program.
