Partnership for development: KSU discussed the creation of a simulation center with the University of Klagenfurt
On April 15, a meeting took place between representatives of Kherson State University and the Vice-Rector for Education and Diversity of the University of Klagenfurt, Doris Hattenberger.
On the agenda are two large-scale issues: the situation in Ukraine and higher education through the prism of Kherson State University, and material and technical support for the creation of a simulation center at our medical faculty.
As Rector Oleksandr Spivakovsky noted, this is a very important direction for the university, which is based on the regional context. KSU is training medical workers for the Kherson region; our students are already working in ambulance services, hospitals of the region and the city.
"The University of Klagenfurt sincerely supports our development plans and is looking for opportunities to involve other partner universities. Together, we believe in a positive result. After all, we already have a successfully implemented case of partnership – server equipment, which is a significant contribution to our institutional resilience and the development of the university's digital infrastructure.
With great pleasure, we presented our partners with a symbolic gift - an amber panel created by masters from Prykarpattia. The image reproduces a group photo from our previous meeting.
Our gift is simultaneously gratitude, memory and confirmation that the shared history of partnership has a continuation.
We thank the Erasmus+ «Staff Mobility for Traineeships» program for its support and a horizon of opportunities!", – emphasized Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
