“Fate, where are you...? Women in Taras Shevchenko’s personal life”

Students of the Pedagogical Faculty took part in a meaningful and profoundly insightful meeting with Tetiana Chulkova, a senior research fellow at the Shevchenko National Reserve.

The topic of the discussion — “Fate, where are you...? Women in Taras Shevchenko’s personal life” — became not just a biographical overview, but a true immersion into the poet’s inner world.

During the meeting, real stories were discussed about the women who left a deep mark on his heart, about feelings, hopes, disappointments, and dreams that were later transformed into sincere and deeply emotional creative reflections. Participants had the opportunity to see the figure of Kobzar not only as a brilliant artist, but also as a person with a sensitive soul, open to love and emotional experiences.

A special value of the event was the documentary sources: letters, notes from the “Diary,” and testimonies of contemporaries, which made it possible to feel the atmosphere of the era and better understand the poet’s personality.

Such meetings are important for future educators, as they help form a holistic understanding of the artist’s figure, combining historical truth with living human emotions.
