Training on Emotional Support in Education: From Student to Teacher
On May 15, as part of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Current Issues in Preschool, Primary, and Special Education in the Context of Societal Crisis Challenges," a training session was held on the topic: "Supporting the Psycho-Emotional State of Educational Process Participants: From Student to Teacher."
The training was conducted by Iryna Serhiivna Fomina, PhD in Psychology and Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Educational Management named after Ye. Petukhov.
During the training, all participants had the opportunity to explore their emotional state more deeply, practice exercises aimed at stabilizing it during acute stress reactions, and learn self-help techniques that can be applied in daily life. Participants actively engaged in discussions about their feelings and emotions after completing the exercises, which contributed to creating a trusting atmosphere and emotional relief.
Special attention was given to the importance of maintaining the psycho-emotional well-being of all members of the educational process amid growing workloads and constant societal challenges. Both teachers and students received valuable advice and practical tools.
At the end of the session, participants shared their impressions of the event, reflected on how their mood had shifted, and expressed gratitude for the meaningful insights on maintaining emotional resilience.
