Workshop "The Lotus Flower: A Symbol of Professional Growth"

After getting acquainted with the Froebel Gifts, the participants of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Current Issues in Preschool, Primary, and Special Education in the Context of Societal Crisis Challenges" attended a workshop conducted by Vladyslava Ihorivna Falchenko, lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education.

The session began with a simple yet heartfelt activity called "The Microphone," which allowed everyone to voice their thoughts and expectations and get to know each other a little better. This exercise created an open atmosphere of trust, where each participant could briefly share what brought them to the event and what they hoped to take away from it. Particularly valuable was the participation of guests from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, who actively joined the discussion and creative process.

The central part of the workshop was the creation of a lotus flower — a powerful symbol in itself. In a pedagogical context, the lotus represented blossoming, harmony, and the gradual unfolding of potential — just like the Faculty of Education, which today unites educators, students, and partners in a shared community of growth. All participants had the opportunity to contribute a part of themselves to a collective symbolic composition — not merely as a creative craft, but as a sign of belonging, openness, and professional flourishing.

This workshop was a reflection of deep meanings found in simple things — about interaction, trust, and the inspiration that arises when we create something together.
