Essay Writing Workshops for Prospective Applicants to Fulbright Graduate Student Program
IIE/Fulbright Ukraine is pleased to announce two online essay writing workshops for Ukrainian citizens interested in applying to the Fulbright Graduate Student Program for the 2025-26 academic year.
The workshops are designed to assist prospective program applicants in drafting effective essays required as part of the application package. The overall goal of the sessions is to help potential applicants develop strong, competitive proposals for the program.
The first workshop will take place on March 4, 2024, at 18:00 Kyiv time and will focus on elaborating a strong study/research objective essay and selecting an appropriate and effective writing sample. The second workshop will be held on March 11, 2024, at 18:00 Kyiv time and will deal with techniques and tips for drafting a persuasive personal statement essay. Both sessions will take place online. The working language is English.
The workshops will be facilitated by Glenn R. Anderson, currently a visiting English language instructor with Lviv Polytechnic National University in Ukraine. Glenn is a dynamic, forward-thinking instructor, with rich experience in organizing, leading, and teaching adults, students, and children. During his four years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine he has traveled the country conducting English language workshops for Ukrainian university professors, teachers, and students.
