Aladin – Interactive Sky Atlas

Aladin is an interactive sky atlas, available as a standalone software application that can be freely downloaded. It allows users to:

• Visualize digitized astronomical images
• Overlay data from astronomical catalogs and databases
• Interactively access information from Simbad, VizieR, and other astronomical services

Developed in 1999, Aladin has become widely used for tasks such as data retrieval, access, visualization, and analysis in astronomical research.
