On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the birth of Pavlo Kindratovych Paraskevich, a literary scholar, member of the board of the Tavria Foundation, and Honorary Citizen of the city of Kherson, the Kherson State University Scientific Library has prepared a virtual book exhibition “Pavlo Paraskevich: A Life Devoted to Science and Education.” The exhibition features literature that highlights the life and creative path of Pavlo Kindratovych.

Another meeting of the library council was held, dedicated to issues of organization of library documentation and work planning for the academic year.
During the meeting, the participants discussed topical issues of preservation and systematization of library reports, protocols and work plans.

On June 25, 2026, employees of the Scientific Library of Kherson State University joined the second module of the three-day workshop "Academic Integrity and AI: How to Develop an Educational Institution's Policy in Accordance with New Legislative Requirements". The topic of the meeting was: "Building an Institutional System for Ensuring Academic Integrity: Mistakes, Risks, and Tools."

On June 25, 2026, employees of the Scientific Library of Kherson State University participated in the webinar "How to correctly fill out an application for the National System of Researchers of Ukraine", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine.

Employees of the Scientific Library of Kherson State University joined the training course “Academic Integrity and AI: How to Develop an Educational Institution’s Policy in Accordance with New Legislative Requirements”.

The course is aimed at preparing educational institutions to implement new requirements of Ukrainian legislation on academic integrity and effectively respond to challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence in educational and scientific activities.

Every year, on June 22, the Ukrainian people honor the bright memory of millions of victims of World War II. It was established by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 1245/2000 of November 17, 2000, in order to perpetuate the memory of millions of Ukrainians whose lives were destroyed or mutilated as a result of World War II at the state level.

On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Mykolaychuk, an outstanding Ukrainian film actor, director, screenwriter, and writer, the Scientific Library has prepared a virtual book exhibition “The Soul of Ukrainian Poetic Cinema.” The exhibition includes literature that highlights the life and creative path of Ivan Mykolaychuk.

June 6 marks the 420th anniversary of the birth of the famous French playwright, who is called the father of French tragedy, one of the creators of classicism in French literature, Pierre Corneille.
On this occasion, the Scientific Library of the KhSU offers to view the virtual exhibition “The Father of French Tragedy.” Pierre Corneille (1606-1684)
The exhibition contains literature that highlights the life and creative path of the writer, his works.

On May 25, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Council of Kherson State University was held, during which the issue of granting the Academic Council's approval stamps to the university's scientific publications was considered.
According to the results of the review, the Academic Council of KhSU granted the approval stamp to the electronic biobibliographic publication "Stratonov Vasyl Mykolayovych: Biobibliographic Index" from the series "Scientists of Kherson State University".

As part of the Days of Science of Kherson State University - 2026, the KhSU Scientific Library held an online event dedicated to topical issues of scientific and publishing activities and the choice of high-quality scientific journals for publishing research results.

The event was moderated by the Director of the KhSU Scientific Library, Alla Koval, who in her opening remarks emphasized the importance of developing a publication culture, academic integrity, and digital literacy of a modern scientist in the context of the transformation of the scientific environment.

The speaker of the event was Alina KRYVOBOKOVA - editor of the KhAI Scientific and Technical Library, a specialist in the preparation and support of scientific journals, work with international scientometric databases, and information and analytical support of scientific activities.

As part of the Science Days of Kherson State University – 2026, the KhSU Scientific Library organized a scientific and practical online event dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence tools in self-study and scientific research.

The moderator of the event, Director of the KhSU Scientific Library Alla Koval, welcomed the participants and emphasized the relevance of the topic in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and the transformation of modern science. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of developing skills for the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence tools in educational and research activities.

The speaker of the event was Vitaliy Kobets, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering of Kherson State University, who presented a lecture “Goal Setting, Prioritization, Planning, and Frameworks for Working with AI in Self-Study and Research.”

On May 18, 2026, a solemn extended meeting of the rectorate dedicated to the Days of Science in Ukraine was held in the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University.
The event brought together representatives of the university administration, scientists, teaching staff, deans, heads of departments, young scientists, heads of structural units and employees of KhSU.
During the celebrations, the director of the KhSU Scientific Library, Alla Koval, was awarded the Diploma of the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration.
