Today, October 20, as part of the Academic Integrity Decade at Kherson State University, the KSU Scientific Library organized a practical workshop focused on modern tools for checking academic texts and the specifics of working with the StrikePlagiarism.com system.

On October 20–21, 2026, a practical seminar titled "Practical Writing of Research Papers: From Research Question to Publication" will take place, focusing on developing skills in academic writing, searching for scholarly information, and preparing research papers for publication.

October 2 marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Ukrainian writer, poet, publicist, and political figure Ivan Bahrianyi (born Ivan Pavlovych Lozoviaha/Lozoviahin), whose life became a symbol of the indomitable Ukrainian spirit in the struggle against the totalitarian regime. To mark this occasion, the KhSU Scientific Library has prepared a virtual book exhibition titled "IVAN BAHRIANYI: UNCONQUERED IN SPIRIT, UNYIELDING IN WORD." The exhibition features literature highlighting the writer's life and creative journey, as well as his works.

September 30, on All-Ukrainian Library Day, a warm meeting of librarians took place, dedicated to the professional holiday.

The director of the Scientific Library of Kherson State University, Alla Koval, addressed her colleagues with a greeting. She conveyed greetings from colleagues from other libraries in Ukraine, who also joined the celebration on this day, and wished the library community inspiration, professional development, and new opportunities.

September 29, 2026, marks the 160th anniversary of the birth of Mykhailo Serhiyovych Hrushevsky. The KSU Scientific Library has prepared a virtual book exhibition titled "Historian, Politician, Nation-Builder."
