Kherson State University held another practical case study of the Summer School of Professional Development «Academic Integrity 2.0: how to submit a student's qualification work signed with a QES?».

Participants reviewed current issues of academic integrity, features of the updated procedure for submitting qualification works, and practical aspects of using a qualified electronic signature.

The first thematic block was led by Tetiana Cherkashyna, Head of the Education Quality Assurance Department. She familiarized participants with the legislative requirements for the preparation and publication of qualification works, provided a step-by-step explanation of the submission procedure – from preparation to defense, and also drew attention to the specifics for students who are abroad or in temporarily occupied territories.

The second block, dedicated to the use of a qualified electronic signature, was presented by Alla Koval, Director of the KSU Scientific Library. She spoke about the features of different QES formats, their differences, and practical application during the signing of qualification works. The speaker paid particular attention to the PAdES and ASIC-E formats, which are most relevant for documents submitted for defense.

The practical case combined legislative requirements with practical recommendations, helping participants better navigate the updated procedure for submitting qualification works and using a qualified electronic signature.
