Anna Chmut and Viktoria Petrenko, faculty members of the School of Business and Law, participated in an international informational event dedicated to opportunities for participation in the LUKE (Loop Joint Call) joint call, which is being implemented as part of the Horizon Europe program.

Through close cooperation with foreign partners, the integration of English-language disciplines, and the participation of students and faculty in international projects and programs, the School creates a favorable environment for the development of professional, linguistic, and intercultural competencies.

Tymofii Nebeskul and Ivan Moskalenko, students of the Faculty of Business and Law, are participating in a semester exchange program at the University of Pomerania in Poland. We talked to them to find out more about their experience and impressions of the first days of study.

Anna Chmut, the Assistant Dean for International Affairs, held a consultation with first-year students on the main issues related to the implementation of international activities at the university. During the meeting, key aspects of accessing international opportunities were discussed, including sources of information, language course enrollments, and student mobility programs.

Anna Likanova, a first-year master's student majoring in "Management" at the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University, recently returned from the United Kingdom, where she participated in an academic mobility program at the University of Kent.

At the Faculty of Business and Law, the bilingual course "Leadership and Business Partnership" has concluded for first-year students majoring in 073 Management and 076 Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activities.

This year, students from all universities in Ukraine have the opportunity to participate in the Leopolis for Future program. The program offers Ukrainian students, as well as Ukrainian students in Poland, the chance to undergo paid internships at major Polish companies such as Abris, Autupay, Crido, CVC, EY, UNCHR, and others.

The event took place in a hybrid format, both at the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University and on the Zoom platform.

On March 13th, Associate Professor of the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business and Tourism, Oleksiy Makiyenko, joined the work of the interdisciplinary scientific seminar "Ukrainian Studies in Lausanne", which took place at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lausanne (UNIL – Anthropole, Université de Lausanne).

New Grant Programs for Higher Education Institutions

On December 23, 2023, a test in the discipline “Performance management” was held for third-year students studying at the Management program. 

Yevheniia Zelinska talks about her experience of studying under the international exchange program at the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poland. She shares her impressions of studying in English, meeting like-minded people from different parts of the world, and how to overcome the fear and excitement of studying abroad.

The Faculty of Business and Law is actively developing the processes of internationalization of the educational process, which includes the International Scientific and Practical Conference to promote intercultural communication and popularize English as a language of international communication.
