Autumn School on Criminal Law
22-24 October 2015 at the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was held Autumn School on criminal law, which was held in the framework of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine "Legal Help schools to promote human rights", which was attended by teachers from 15 universities from all over Ukraine.
The aim of the event was the lighting of contemporary issues (gaps) in criminal law and criminal law teaching methodology. On it were invited experts: Nikolai Havronyuk, Doctor of Law, Professor, Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of Kiev National University named after Taras Shevchenko, a member of the Center for Political and Legal Reforms, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine; Svetlana Hilyuk, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology Law Faculty of Lviv University, a lawyer; Dudorov Alexander, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Justice of Zaporizhzhya National University.
Recognized Ukrainian experts made presentations on the novel of the criminal legislation of Ukraine, criminal liability for the violation of human rights and the specific application of the European Court of Human Rights in Criminal Law of Ukraine.
After a competitive selection, I received an invitation from the KSU assistant professor of sectoral law, Ph.D., associate professor, I.N. Rizhenko.
