Fourth International Conference “Informatization of Education in Ukraine. ICT in Higher Educational Institutions” May, 15-16, 2008. The main tasks Ukrainian system of education are: to accomplish correspondence to European standards, unification of curricula, active introduction of ICT in academic processes, creation of interuniversity infrastructure, development of lifelong education systems using ICT. That is why, support of the projects, focused on development and implementation of IT in higher and lifelong education is one of the priorities of European program TEMPUS/TACIS. First of all it is connected with universities, training the most qualified specialists in different spheres – science, industry, administration, etc. Examples of such projects are: Tempus Project JEP_26239_2005 ECDL4UA «ECDL for Ukrainian Administrators»; Tempus Project JEP_27237_2006 CC4U2 «Computing Curricula for Ukrainian Universities»; Tempus Project JEP_27247_2006 CLIP «ICT based learning and personal development services for students».
