KSU Associate Professor Joins Jury for Regional Competition of Teaching and Methodological Materials
From April to October 2026, the annual regional competition of educational and methodological materials focused on tourism, local history, and military-patriotic themes took place, organized by the municipal institution "Center for Tourism and Local History Creativity of Student Youth" of the Kherson Regional Council
Associate Professor Halyna Mykhailenko’s participation in the jury served to support the pedagogical initiatives of educators in the Kherson region, promote best educational practices, and foster the development of tourism-related local history studies and military-patriotic education among students.
This year, the jury reviewed eight original projects submitted by educators from five general secondary education institutions and two extracurricular education institutions in the Kherson region.
In their methodological materials, the educators shared their experience in organizing extracurricular clubs, employing effective methods for tourism-related local history and military-patriotic activities—both in remote and blended learning environments—as well as planning and conducting tourism trips, local history expeditions, and excursions.
Based on the jury’s evaluation, the winners and honorees of the competition were selected across three thematic categories.
