Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi met with students and faculty members of FCTPNM during the week of in-person learning
On November 03, 2026, during the week of in-person learning, at the Faculty of Digital Technologies, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, a meeting took place between the faculty's students and teachers and the Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk, and Vice-Rector for Digitalization Oleksandr Lemeshchuk. They spoke about the possibilities of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in education, about chess and the development of thinking, as well as about how, without a student's own motivation, even the best conditions will not yield results.
«University life – is not only lectures, technologies, and knowledge. It is, above all, people, whose meetings inspire, conversations that prompt thinking, and a sense of community that no distance can destroy», – emphasized the rector.
During the meeting, they spoke about the possibilities of modern technologies, and the participants even interacted with the rector's digital assistant.
«Artificial intelligence opens up vast prospects for learning and development. But it is important that it enhances our knowledge, rather than replacing it», – noted Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
The topic of chess and its impact on the development of thinking was also addressed separately.
The rector formulated the main idea of the meeting as follows:
«We are creating the conditions; the best teachers work at KSU, and the most modern tools are used, but without the student's own motivation, none of this will work. So, I wish for everyone's motivation for learning to grow into true inspiration!»
We thank the rector and vice-rectors for the meeting, which provided a sense of a single university family.
«We are doing everything possible so that the week of in-person learning becomes a source of new knowledge, ideas, and inspiration for students!» – summarized Tetiana Honcharenko.
