Students of the Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Arts of KSU are among the winners of the All-Ukrainian Translation Studies Competition
Students of the Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Arts of Kherson State University continue to demonstrate a high level of professional training and achieve new academic achievements.
Another reason for pride was the participation of students from group 402 in the All-Ukrainian student and pupil translation competition «Between the Lines: Think, Translate, and Transform».
The competition is aimed at developing translation competencies, improving language skills, forming a creative approach to translation, and popularizing translation activities among youth.
Based on the results of the competition trials, group 402 student Olena Soboleva won second place, demonstrating profound knowledge, a high level of language proficiency, and translation skill. Anna Herasymenko, Anna Abashyna, and Alina Kalashnikova also worthily represented the faculty, for whom participation in the competition became an important experience for professional development.
Scientific supervision and preparation of the students were carried out by Olena Heorhiivna Khan, Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology and World Literature named after Professor Oleh Mishukov. The successes of the students are a testament to high-quality educational training, effective cooperation between students and teachers, and the significant potential of the faculty's student youth.
