May 14, 2013 Grand opening of playgrounds in the kindergarten № 33 named after Frederick Froebel was taking place. This action became possible due to the joint activity of Kherson City Council and Kherson State University.

The event was attended by Acting City Provost Z.Berezhna, Vice-Rector of Kherson State University professor O. Spivakovsky, Dean of Pre-School and Elementary Education Faculty, KSU, professor L. Pyetukhova., Head of Board of Education, Kherson City Council, Y. Nikonov, teachers and students of Pre-School and Elementary Education Faculty, KSU, tutors, pupils and parents of kindergarten № 33 and of other kindergartens.
Nearly 20,000 Euros were transferred by the colleagues of Evangelisches Fröbelseminar (Kassel,Germany) thanks to the fruitful cooperation withKhersonStateUniversity. This cooperation offered an opportunity to equip the territory of kindergarten № 33, Kherson City Council, with modern facilities.
Also on this festive occasion German partners have prepared many gifts, so-called F. Froebel gifts, created by the founder of kindergartens for the preschool children development. These guidance materials will soon proceed to the kindergarten. A real Beauty Area was created with the participation of parents of kindergarten № 33 and students of KSU.
This event has proved that the joint actions of the government and the educationalist allow putting into practice the slogan of the famous German teacher F. Froebel: "We live for the sake of our children."
