The Head of the Department participated in a workshop for the "Ukrainian History: Global Initiative" project

Over the course of three days, event participants engaged in substantive discussions and professional debates, exchanged scholarly ideas, presented their own work, and outlined new perspectives for researching Ukrainian history.
The workshop served as a forum for open intellectual dialogue, fostering insightful observations, the formulation of new approaches, unexpected discoveries, and the generation of ideas for future scholarly work. These rich discussions underscored the importance of interdisciplinary exchange and the collective interpretation of the Ukrainian historical experience within broad national, European, and global contexts.

The next step is the final writing phase, which will synthesize the findings and results of our joint work. Even now, however, it is clear that this project has become a crucial starting point for the future development of historical scholarship, opening up new possibilities for interpreting and presenting Ukrainian history in a global context.
