Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi participated in the General Assembly of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

As Oleksandr Spivakovskyi emphasized, today it is especially important not only to respond to the challenges of war, but also to form a model of education for post-war Ukraine: modern, digital, human-centric, and competitive.

"I am glad to meet with the President of the NAES of Ukraine, Vasyl Kremen, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mykola Trofymenko, and colleagues. I value the opportunity to exchange ideas with people who define the intellectual landmarks for the development of our state.

Education remains one of the main resources for Ukraine's resilience and its future."

Also at the meeting, Oleh Mykhailovych Topuzov was elected President of the NAES of Ukraine - an academician of the NAES of Ukraine, Vice President of the Academy, and Director of the Institute of Pedagogy of the NAES of Ukraine.

"I sincerely congratulate Oleh Mykhailovych! He is a man of science and education, whom I know well and deeply respect. His scientific interests encompass didactics, modern approaches to learning, the reform of Ukrainian education, its European integration and, what is particularly important to me, partnership interaction in education.

In December 2025, Oleh Mykhailovych was a guest at our Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University. We talked a lot about education and science, the development of universities, and human capital. And once again, we were convinced: we have much in common in understanding what modern Ukrainian education should be - open to change, based on science, partnership, and responsibility for the future.

Special words of deep respect and gratitude to Vasyl Hryhorovych Kremen, who headed the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine for many years. This is an entire era of the development of Ukrainian pedagogical science, the formation of its strategic landmarks, and its role in the state's educational policy.

Therefore, I perceive today's decision primarily as continuity and at the same time the beginning of a new stage: preserving traditions, scientific schools, and institutional memory, along with the readiness to respond to new challenges.

I wish Oleh Mykhailovych strength, wisdom, a strong team, and success in this great and responsible endeavor.

An extremely difficult time lies ahead for Ukrainian education and science. A time when they must not only endure but also become one of the foundations for the recovery and future of Ukraine.

Sincere congratulations! New ideas, strong decisions, and new opportunities for Ukrainian education and science!", – summarized Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
