KSU and Carpathian University organized the shared use of resources
14 September, a meeting was held between KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovsky and Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University Rector Valentyna Yakubiv and the Chairman of the Academic Council Ihor Tsepeda.
Vice-rector for socio-humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work Veronika Denysenko and the head of the infrastructure support department Oleksandr Voloshyn also joined.
The parties signed several documents that regulate our interaction and the shared use of resources: an agreement on the organization and provision of temporary accommodation for students and employees of KSU in the dormitories of Carpathian University, an agreement for dormitory accommodation, as well as an agreement on the shared use of a diesel generator, which belongs to KSU and is already installed and connected to the networks of one of the Carpathian University dormitories.
"There are partnerships that are measured not by the number of signed documents, but by how willing people are to meet each other halfway. Such are the relations of Kherson State University with Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
At first glance, these are operational matters, but in reality, much more stands behind them.
Carpathian University has been supporting our academic community for several years now, specifically by providing our students and employees with the opportunity to live in dormitories. We, for our part, also have resources that we can share. The KSU generator will work where both our people and members of the Carpathian University community live. This is a simple but very illustrative principle: if a resource can be useful to both universities, it is wise to use it together.
At the same time, any good relations must be well-regulated. Trust between people and institutional order do not contradict each other - they complement each other. Clear agreements, responsibility of the parties, and understandable rules of use are signs of a mature partnership", – noted Oleksandr Spivakovsky and thanked Valentyna Yakubiv, Ihor Tsependi, and the entire community of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University for their humanity and support for KSU.
