Two students of Kherson State University will start receiving named scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Yes, Rostyslav Yevsyukov, a 4th-year student of the «Social Work» specialty, will receive the Ivan Ohiienko Presidential Scholarship of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Pavlo Zelenskyi, a 3rd-year student of the «Therapy and Rehabilitation» specialty, has become a recipient of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred academic scholarship.

«Two different specialties, two educational trajectories, but behind each of these results is personal labor, responsibility, motivation, and a desire to develop. The scholarships themselves are particularly symbolic. One bears the name of Ivan Ohiienko—a prominent Ukrainian scientist, educator, statesman, and church figure; the other—the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, who gave their lives for the democratic and European future of Ukraine. This is not only recognition of achievements but also a great responsibility. We are proud of you, Rostyslav and Pavlo! I thank the teachers who teach, support, and motivate our students. Behind every student success stands not only personal perseverance but also a university environment that helps talent to develop», – noted KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

He wished the young men not to stop at what has been achieved, but rather that these scholarships serve as an incentive to move forward, acquire new knowledge, grow professionally, realize their own ideas, and work for the benefit of people and Ukraine.
