The KSU team visited King Danylo University
On September 11, the Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, together with the Vice-Rector for Social-Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Veronika Denysenko and the Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Innovation, Investment Activity, and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Lemeschuk, met with the Rector of King Danylo University Myroslav Lutskyi and his team.
Representatives of KSU congratulated colleagues on the start of the new academic year.
"We spoke about the main thing — what exactly our universities can do together. We have many points of convergence. We agreed to more actively involve students and teachers from both universities in joint events: conferences, round tables, open lectures, trainings, masterclasses, discussion platforms, and professional development schools," – noted Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
The parties also discussed student initiatives. According to Oleksandr Spivakovsky, it is important to create more opportunities for direct communication between the youth of the two universities, as well as joint educational, cultural, volunteer, and social projects.
Another direction — the academic mobility of students and teachers. Not only formal exchange programs, but the opportunity to attend individual courses, participate in joint educational modules, hold guest lectures, and exchange experience between departments and faculties.
There is also potential for joint science: research, publications, conferences, the formation of project teams, and the preparation of grant applications. We also see prospects for international cooperation, where the unification of the partner networks of the two universities can open new opportunities for both teams.
The direction of digitalization also remains promising. KSU has significant experience of its own, but for us, it is important not only to share developments but also to create new solutions together.
"For me, it is fundamental that the result of such meetings does not become another memorandum for the sake of a memorandum. The document should only record what is already filled with concrete content.
Therefore, the next step is to determine coordinators from KSU and UKD, form a joint working group, and move to a specific plan of activities and 2–3 pilot initiatives that can be implemented in the very near future.

Strong universities do not compete where they can strengthen each other.
