Kherson unites: Class of 2026
Despite all the challenges of today, Kherson State University continues to create its history. The solemn ceremony «Kherson unites: Graduation – 2026» became a true celebration of knowledge, strength of spirit, unity, and faith in the future.
The event began with honoring the memory of the fallen Defenders of Ukraine and all peaceful Ukrainians whose lives were taken by Russian aggression. Sincere words of gratitude were voiced to the Ukrainian warriors for the opportunity to study, work, and build the future.
The Rector of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, addressed the graduates with a congratulatory speech.
The ceremony participants were also congratulated by the Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Ihor Mandar, the Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Volodymyr Kliutsevskyi, the Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University Valentyna Yakubiv, and the Advisor to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine and Chairman of the Academic Council of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University Ihor Tsependa.
Also speaking with congratulations were the Deputy Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Olena Yeremenko, the Deputy Head of the Kherson City Military Administration Vitalii Bielobrov, the Deputy Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Svyatoslav Nykovych, the Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Kherson Regional State Administration Olena Danylova, the Head of the Education Department of the Kherson City Council Nataliia Bil, the Rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University Roman Yatsyshyn, the First Vice-Rector of King Danylo University Mykhailo Kosmii, and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kherson State University, philanthropist, and patron Yurii Rozhkov.
🎶 The festive mood was enhanced by creative performances by People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Hurba, winner of the second season of the show «X-Factor Ukraine», an artist of the Mykola Kulish Kherson Regional Academic Musical and Drama Theater Viktor Romanchenko, Merited Artist of Ukraine Oleksii Ponomariov, a teacher at Kherson Music School No. 3 and an alumna of KSU Anna Manzhai, as well as soloists of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Academic Hutsul Song and Dance Ensemble «Hutsuliia».
🎓 One of the most touching moments of the ceremony was the presentation of diplomas to graduates of all faculties. On behalf of the student community, the Chairman of the Student Council of the Faculty of Biology, Geography, and Ecology, and a member of the Student Parliament of Kherson State University Illia Muzyka, addressed those present. He thanked the university community, the faculty, and everyone who supported the students on their path to obtaining higher education.
The festive atmosphere of the event was created by the Vice-Rector for Social-Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work of Kherson State University Veronika Denysenko, who moderated the solemn ceremony.
