The new school year started with a library meeting!
On September 2, a meeting of the library staff was held at the Scientific Library of Kherson State University to mark the beginning of the new academic year.
The meeting was opened by Director of the Scientific Library Alla Koval. She congratulated colleagues on the new academic year, outlined the main tasks and priorities of the library's work, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, the development of electronic services, and the support of academic integrity.
One of the main topics was the new requirements for working with the qualification works of students, their signing with EDS, and placement in the institutional repository.
Larysa Vozniuk conducted a practical demonstration of working with the repository – from selecting a collection and creating a submission to uploading documents and filling in metadata.
Tetiana Chmara presented the capabilities of the new library information system for cataloging publications and working with library documents.
They also discussed the organization of the library's work in the new academic year, the distribution of tasks, further interaction of employees, and the development of the institutional repository collections.
This meeting was our common start to the new academic year – productive, meaningful, and at the same time warm.
