A meeting of postgraduate students was held at KSU
On September 1, the traditional meeting of 1st–4th year PhD students was held at Kherson State University. The event was attended by KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk, Head of the Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Department Lidiia Bondarenko, deans of faculties, academic supervisors, and guarantors of educational programs.
Opening the meeting, the Rector of KSU, Oleksandr Spivakovsky, congratulated the postgraduate students on the start of the new academic year and thanked them for choosing Kherson State University for their scientific journey. The Rector specifically addressed fourth-year postgraduate students. After all, the most responsible stage lies ahead – the completion of research and the defense of the dissertation.
The First Vice-Rector of KSU, Serhii Omelchuk, wished the postgraduate students to move confidently toward their set goals: for those who are about to defend their dissertations in the near future – a successful defense, and for all others – diligent and productive scientific work together with their scientific supervisors.
The Head of the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies, Lidiia Bondarenko, focused attention on key organizational issues at the beginning of the academic year. In particular, she reported that the final certification of postgraduate students begins as early as September 2, familiarized those present with the schedule for its conduct, the main requirements, and the specifics of preparing the necessary documentation. Separately, Lidiia Bondarenko drew attention to the need to prepare a presentation on the results of the work performed during the reporting period.
During the meeting, postgraduate students also had the opportunity to receive clarifications regarding the organization of the educational process, discuss current issues, and ask questions to the university administration representatives, to which they received comprehensive answers.
