The off-site module of the VII Summer School of Professional Development of KSU has started in Uman.
On August 28, the second, off-site module of the VII Summer School of Professional Development of Kherson State University began. The event is taking place at Uman National University
This format of KSU is being used for the first time.
Representatives of KSU arrived in Uman from Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kyiv, and other cities of Ukraine.
“This is a live discussion. The energy of communication. Trust that is born during personal meetings. New ideas that arise not only in classrooms but also in conversations between sessions, during tours of the university, shared walks, or evening socializing”, – noted KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
He thanked the first vice-rector Serhii Omelchuk, the head of the department for working with gifted youth Yuliia Yurina, the head of the human resources department Nataliia Kudas, the head of the infrastructure support department Oleksandr Voloshyn, and the trade union committee for organizing the off-site module.
The Rector of KSU, together with the Rector of Uman National University, Olena Yaroshynska, welcomed the participants of the school. The Rector also presented awards—certificates and letters of appreciation—to colleagues, which were waiting for them.
“We deliberately chose the format of an off-site module. Because this is a space not only for professional development but also for strengthening the university community and the birth of new partnerships”, – says the KSU Rector.
A cooperation agreement has been signed regarding the implementation of elements of our digital platform KSU24 into the operations of Uman National University.
As a sign of gratitude and friendship, a Kherson painting was presented with the inscription: «Even far from our native shore, we remember our sea, we have our memory and gratitude to our friends. With respect and faith in our partnership».
KSU representatives had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the university's educational and scientific environment and to engage in professional discussions about the organization of the educational process in the conditions of war and the enemy's systematic destruction of critical infrastructure.
