Almost 300 participants are taking part in the KSU Summer School of Professional Development
August 25, at Kherson State University, the work of the VII Summer School of Professional Development of Kherson State University-2026 began.
This year, the theme of the educational initiative is – «Professional activity of a teacher in the context of the digital transformation of the university».
The Summer School of Professional Development-2026 will take place from August 25 to 30. The official opening took place today, August 25.
The event was moderated by the First Vice-Rector of KSU Serhii Omelchuk. According to him, 296 participants have been registered this year.
The First Vice-Rector also noted that more and more external listeners are joining year after year. A feature of this year's event is the format of two modules. For three days, participants will study remotely, and for three days – in person, during an off-site module based at Uman National University. During the in-person module, participants will familiarize themselves with the university's work, there will be an exchange of experience, networking, and participants will also be able to visit famous locations in the city of Uman, in particular the National Dendrological Park «Sofiyivka» of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where activities are also planned.
The participants of the Summer School of Professional Development were welcomed by the Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi. He thanked the First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk, the head of the department for working with gifted youth Yuliia Yurina, and the entire team for organizing the School's work.
«For me, it is very important that even in the fifth year of the full-scale war, we continue to work, develop, and stay together. The Summer School — is not only about professional development, but also about the opportunity to exchange experience, support each other, and find new solutions that help the university move forward», – noted the Rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
