Research Smarter

September 24, 10:15–11:15

Topic: From scientific results to real changes: how to demonstrate research impact

Key points:  In today's scientific world, demonstrating impact goes far beyond traditional citation metrics. Scientific institutions, funders, and policymakers are increasingly demanding clear evidence of how scientific research contributes to the development of society, innovation, and the achievement of global priorities.

This webinar is dedicated to how scientific excellence - embodied by highly cited scientists and the most impactful publications - is transformed into real impact.

We will also discuss how new data and indicators enable scientists and institutions to demonstrate impact through citations in patents and regulatory documents, directly linking scientific results with innovation and the decision-making process.

Participants will learn how to practically transition from assessing scientific impact to demonstrating the measurable social and economic effect of research, supporting the strategic development of the institution, reporting preparation, and engagement with key stakeholders.
