The Summer School of Professional Development is launching at KSU – a space for ideas, partnerships, and new opportunities.
On August 25, the Summer School of Professional Development of Kherson State University-2026 begins its work at Kherson State University. This year, the theme of the educational initiative is – «Professional activity of a teacher in the context of digital transformation of the university».
The Summer School of Professional Development-2026 will take place from August 25 to 30. A feature of this year's event is a two-module format.
August 25–27 (remotely) – three days of training in a virtual environment.
The remote module program includes: modern trainings, practical workshops, discussions, and meetings with experts.
Participants will explore the possibilities of using AI agents in the professional activities of a teacher, new opportunities of the KSU24 and K SU-online platforms, issues of academic integrity, and modern approaches to organizing the educational process.
The Rector of KSU, Oleksandr Spivakovsky, will open the School with a motivational lecture «Modern Challenges – Motivation for Personal Success».

Ahead are six intense days of knowledge, discussions, teamwork, and live university communication.
We develop ourselves – we develop the university!», – emphasized Oleksandr Spivakovsky.
On the first day, participants can also expect:
- a lecture by Vasyl Stratonov «Prevention of Professional Deformation in the Context of Modern Challenges»;
- a presentation by Oleksandr Lemeschuk «New Opportunities of the KSU24 Platform».
August 28–30 (in-person) – an off-site module in Uman in a format of interaction in a real-world environment.
Participants will work on developing team interaction, professional motivation, and staff engagement, and will participate in joint reflection and the search for new solutions in partnership with Uman National University.
The off-site module program includes:
- familiarization with the educational and scientific environment of Uman National University;
- teamwork;
- group interaction and communication of faculty teams;
- networking;
- joint reflection, working with the conclusions of the summer school, and understanding them in the context of one's own professional activities at the National Dendrological Park «Sofiyivka» of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
