KSU students participate in an international program in the field of psychology and art therapy
11 students majoring in «Social Work» and «Psychology» of Kherson State University have started participating in the international program «Mindrise: The Respite, Recovery & Resilience Camp», which will take place from July 20 to 30 in the Polish city of Płock.
The students are accompanied during the trip by a psychologist and social worker of the KSU socio-psychological service, Daria Domanchuk.
The program includes a series of lectures and practical classes in the field of psychology and art therapy, which will be conducted by representatives of the Polytechnic Institute and Virginia State University — Professors Matthew Komelski and Victoria Fu.
In addition to the educational component, the program includes cultural and educational activities, introduction to the history and culture of Poland, visits to Warsaw, Toruń, cultural and scientific-educational institutions, as well as activities aimed at relaxation, psychological recovery, and strengthening personal resilience.
The organization of the program, financial and logistical support, provision of accommodation, meals, insurance, and travel for participants is provided by the «Idziemy na spacer» Association, the Municipality of Płock, the «Siepomaga» Foundation, and the Płock County.
